Website Support Channel
Website Support is the channel that answers visitor messages from the Navigic embedded widget.
Setup Steps
- Create or publish a support agent.
- Open Channels > Website Support.
- Use Change serving agent to assign the published agent revision.
- Create an embed key.
- Add allowed origins.
- Install the widget script.
- Send a test message.
- Review channel activity.
Agent Assignment
Only deploy an agent that is safe for public visitor conversations. For most sites, the agent should answer from reviewed knowledge and hand off anything uncertain, sensitive, or account-specific.
Access Settings
Website Support access is controlled by embed keys and allowed origins. The publishable key identifies the workspace, while allowed origins define which websites may use that key.
Embed-key visibility is the server-side upper bound for public diagnostics.
Current widget scripts inherit it by default. Installed pages may explicitly hide
reasoning or tool-call status with data-show-* attributes, but they cannot show
anything the embed key disallows.

Direct Support Topology
Most Website Support deployments should use one direct serving agent. Backstage workers are an advanced pattern for orchestrated support flows and are not required for a public customer support agent.
Runtime Verification
After changing the serving agent, send a widget test message and review Runtime activity on the Website Support channel. The activity record should show the served agent name and revision you just assigned.
Before launch or after a knowledge update, run the public support checks in Website Support Quality Checks.
